Value your old typewriter - Free of charge

How much is my old typewriter worth?  That is the question people most often ask! I'm happy to provide independent advice on value, free of charge.  Here's how it works.

Email some decent photos of your machine to richard.milton@virgin.net

If there is a case email pictures of the case too showing as much detail as possible. If there are any extras (instructions, cleaning brush etc) send pics of those too. 

Give me any information you have about where it came from and so on. I will value desk machines as well as portables.

I will email you my objective advice on what I think your typewriter is likely to fetch if it is sold on eBay, and what starting price I suggest.

I will base my valuation on 40-odd years of collecting typewriters and on 10 years of buying and selling some 200 plus machines on eBay.

If there is a history of your typewriter on this site, I will provide you with a link.  You are free to cut and paste any text (but not pictures) from this site to use in your eBay listing.
